On Sunday April 30th 2107, Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company attended the Nazareth Area Science Project at the Kenneth N. Butz Elementary School (formerly Bushkill Elementary). The kids and adults had a great time reviewing our fire prevention handouts as well as our fire apparatus. Kids even got to play with a fire hose and spray a cone over which was a big hit for the kids! Our EMS reviewed their ambulances and went over CPR for the public as well. It was a great day for all involved.

Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Co. 155 Firehouse Drive Nazareth, PA 18064 Our mission is to provide awareness and education in the battle against Heroin and Opiate addiction. We are moms breaking the silence and the shame of a loved one being affected by the large Heroin epidemic in our communities. This is a silent battle. The "secret" lives of those addicted to Heroin are not so much a secret anymore. Everyone knows someone who is using it, struggling to recover from it, or has died from it. How many more families need to bury a loved one? Our community needs to stop the stigmatization of those in the throes of addiction, and instead promote pr...evention and education. This crisis impacts not only those at risk for use and abuse, but the families who suffer in silence. We cannot see their pain and often their cry for help goes unheard. Help us promote the benefits of awareness and prevention, to make a difference! We have planned an awareness day and are asking for your support. You may just help save a life! All funding will be used to maintain the organizations awareness and education in the battle against Heroin and Opiate addiction. We need your help! Donations, gifts, volunteers and vendors are still needed. Thank you for your support, Partners For a New Beginning EIN # 81-1908560 Saturday June 25th, the Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company did a birthday party appearance for a young boy in the township from an inquiry we received from the parents asking if we do such things.
